Dr Gregor Donaldson

GP Partner Dr Donaldson joined the practice as a partner in 2004 and is a GPSI in ENT and Minor Surgery. He is the GP lead for prescribing and the Clinical Pharmacist Programme at the practice. Dr Donaldson leads on Strategy, Practice Development and Finance. He also has two external lead posts as a Director for South East Leeds GP Federation and the Medical Lead for Medicines Optimisation for Leeds GP Confederation.

GP Partner Dr Sandhu joined the practice in 2015 as a Salaried GP before becoming a GP Partner in 2019. In 2020, she became a GP trainer. Dr Sandhu is a GP lead for Staff HR

Dr Catherine Riley

Salaried GP Dr Riley joined the practice in August 2020, she was previously a GP Registrar at the practice.

Dr Ellen Oakhill


Dr Oakhill joined the practice in 2018 on the GP retainer scheme as a salaried GP when she moved from Birmingham and has over 10 years experience as a GP. She is a practice lead for quality improvement and has recently been involved in an Integrated Quality Improvement Programme with Leeds Community Healthcare and Cross Gates Primary Care Network looking at falls prevention pathways.

Dr Eleanor Barrett

Senior Associate GP Dr Barrett joined the practice in 2014 and is a GPSI in contraception and is the GP lead for our Coil and Implant clinics. She has experience working in palliative care working in St Martins House Hospice. .

Julie Beer

Nurse Manager, Trainee Advanced Clinical Practioner RGN (1994) Dip Cytology, Dip Diabetes, Dip Asthma, Woman’s Health level 6, Mentor, Dip COPD, Dip Heart Failure and Minor Illness, Non-Medical Prescriber. Julie joined the Practice in 2006 and trained at Airedale General Hospital of School of Nursing. Julie is a trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

Julie Joined the practice as a practice nurse in 2006 and become a nurse prescriber and trained in minor illness and minor injuries. She is now training to be an Advanced Clinical Practitioner and leads on the Covid shielded patients and Covid vaccine clinics.. she is also part of the Cross Gates Primary Care network Leadership Team and East Leeds Collaborative. Julie set up the first Covid Secure flu drive through service in 2020 across 11 practices and coordinators the Student Nurse Placements at the practice as a Mentor.

Kate Moore

Senior Practice Nurse. RGN (1993) Dip in (Nursing) Healthcare (2012), Dip in General Practice, Dip Asthma, Dip COPD, Dip Diabetes mentor. Kate is also a non-medical prescriber.

Kate joined the practice in 2014 and is our Senior Practice Nurse. She is responsible for the Health Care Assistants within the team and is also a nurse mentor. Kate is the Nurse Lead for End of Life Care and Coordinates monthly MDT meetings between the practice, Leeds Community Healthcare and St Gemmas Hospice for our patients. Kate is also a Nurse Mentor for Student Nurses on placement.

Sarah Alexander

BSC (Hons) Adult Nursing, Dip Asthma & COPD. Sarah Joined the Practice in February 2018 and trained at Leeds University. Sarah previously has worked at St James Hospital and as a District Nurse, specialising in wound care.

Amy Marshall

Practice Nurse BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing, Leeds University (2014)

Amy joined the Practice in August 2019 and previously worked at St James Hospital in Respiratory and Critical Care. She is currently undertaking her diabetes management and smear course. Amy works in the Covid vaccination clinics.

Student Nurses

Colton Mill MC is an Advanced Training Practice (ATP) and takes student nurses in their 1st, 2nd or 3rd year. Student Nurses may be on placed from 1 day to 3 months and are always supervised by a qualified nurse mentor. Students in their final year may undertake their own clinics under indirect supervision. Patients who do not wish to see a student care should inform reception staff.

Leanne Beever


Leanne Joined the Practice in 2020 and works as a Health Care Assistant. She has been supporting the COVID clinics in the observation areas.

Victoria Bottomley

Senior Health Care Assistant and Trainee Nurse Associate

Vicky joined the practice in 2015 on the Health Care Assistant Apprenticeship Programme. She started her Nursing Associate Training in 2020 at Bradford University. She has an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care. She has also completed her training in injections and immunisation to administer B12, Flu, Pneumonia and Shingles. Vicky bas a number of HCA lead roles within the team.

Andrea joined the Practice in 2002 and trained at Leeds University School or Healthcare. Andrea also works as the Clinical Director of Crossgates Primary Care Network and became a partner in practice in 2015.

Laura Cullimore

Assistant Practice Manager NVQ Business Administration.

Laura joined the practice and initially worked in admin coding, secretarial and took on the role of Assistant Practice Manager after starting a Business Administration Level 3 NVQ. She is responsible operationally for the clinics, staff HR and Assisting the Managing Partner with the day to day running of the practice.

Janet initially joined the practice as a receptionist before training as a Data Processor. Janet is responsible for ensuring all patient correspondence is uploaded and attached to patient records.

Amy joined the practice in 2016 as a business and admin apprentice. She initially worked as a prescription clerk and reception. She later trained in medical coding and secretarial duties as a Medical Administrator before recently starting a WBL (LCC) Level 3 Digital Marketer Apprentice 2020. Care Navigators

Joanne Scott

Care Navigator Coordinator

Joanne joined the practice as a receptionist before taking on the reception coordinator role. She has a Diploma in General Practice Administration and is responsible for the day to day running of the reception team. Joanne coordinators works closely with the duty doctor each day to manage patient enquiries. Joanne also supervises and trains new members of the receptionist.

Julie joined the practice as a receptionist and she is now one of our Senior Receptionists. She supports the training of new receptionists.

Debbie is one of the Senior Receptionists and supports our Junior Office Clerks. She previously completed the Diploma in General Practice Administration and is the practice lead for patient records.

Abby Heald

Abby started at the practice in 2020 and works as a receptionist and prescription clerk. Abby has also been supporting the Covid vaccination clinics as an administrator.

Jayne joined the practice reception team in 2020 and works as a receptionist and the pharmacy team as a prescription clerk. She has experience working in the NHS cervical screening service and works in our Covid clinics as a marshal.

Holly Hemingway

Holly initially joined the practice after a period of work experience in 2018. She has since trained as a junior office clerk and more recently reception duties. Holly has been involved in arranging Covid vaccine clinic appointments and supports them as both an administrator and marshal. She works part time whilst studying.

Georgia Mann

Georgia first started at the practice as work experience in 2018 before joining the practice as a junior office clerk supporting the reception, admin and management with general office duties. She is currently training in reception duties part time whilst in eduction which includes a BTEC in business and health and social care. She works as an administrator and marshal in the COVID vaccination clinics

Hannah joined the practice in 2016 on the Clinical Pharmacist Programme. She is now one of the practice Senior Clinical Pharmacists and Mental Health Lead. Hannah, is currently completing a PG Credit in Mental Health and is responsible for managing the prescription clerk team.

Lynne Hargreaves

Senior Prescription Clerk

Lynne previously worked in at the practice as an Experienced Medical Receptionist. Lynne developed her skills and joint the Prescription Team in 2018.

Neighbourhood Team

Matrons, DN's, Community Nurses etc who are attached to our practice are employed by Leeds Community Health Care. They attend our clinical meetings each month and care for our housebound patients with nursing needs. They are in the Seacroft NT

Health Visitors

Health visitors do not work at the practice but all patients under 5 years have a designated HV attached depending on the area they live.

Clinical Nurse Specialists St Gemmas

Claire Redmond

Our designated specialist Nurse for our practice is based at St Gemmas, she attends regular clinical meetings with the GP's, Pharmacists, Nurses, Matron and District Nurses to review the care for our palliative care patients
